My Opinion Isn't a Right

In class we had to participate in a Socratic seminar last week on "The Right to Your Opinion" and these are a couple of notes on it.

• your opinion does not matter 
• people take your opinion seriously and can get offended on what you say 
• in order to validate your opinion you need to have evidence to support it 
• big people make little people's opinion feel small 
• *interdependence: depending on others 
• the limbic part of our brain controls our emotions 
• reptilian part of our brain is not intentional
